Fun Mail......

Don't you love getting packages? I do! And so did Kady today. I have been following a blog for a few years now, called Whatever, and she opens her etsy shop from time to time selling all her crafty goodness. I fell in love with her pillows....such great colorful fabrics! The first couple of times I was too late to order one, because of how popular her stuff is, and it all sold out. Bummed, I was determined to grab one the next time she opened her shop. I was in front of my computer and counted the minutes. As soon as it opened, I quickly browsed all the wonderful pillows and then asked Kady which one she liked. She couldn't have picked a more perfect one! So guess what came in the mail today......

A Bridal Shower...

I had been a busy bee the last couple months planning a bridal shower for my "sissy to be". I had a few decorating projects to make and I have the hot glue burns to prove it. In the end, it turned out to be a fabulous party with lovely women, delicious food, and a very happy

"Bride to be".

this was a project using about 200 coffee filters, a large matte, and some silk orchids

i took lines from the traditional wedding vows and put them on 4 cylinder vases

"to love & cherish"

"for better & for worse"

"for richer & for poorer"

"in sickness & health"

Tulips.....ahhh, tulips.

i saw this project somewhere and decided to use the idea. paper doilies glued to paper lanterns

anyone for some dessert?

What, what, wha????

Is it really April? Yikes! We have been feeling so much better in this house. I believe the virus has left the building. Thank god for that! I know I didn't post a couple days worth of "my favorite photo's" and I'm sorry. I've been busy being sick. OH, and trying to finish some projects for the bridal shower this weekend. (pics of that coming soon). So let me just wrap up my March birthday month by saying.....I'm a year older, hopefully a year wiser, I'm blessed with all that I have, and looking forward to a great year!
