Our pantry is Kady's favorite place to go. She often helps herself to snacks and cereal throughout the day. (yes, I do feed her people.) Sometimes she is there more often then I want her to. I have to put a chair in front of the door so she can't get in....doesn't stop her. One afternoon I heard some rustling around and grabbed my camera to find her in action.

The hubby and I were able to finally get a weekend away.....ALONE!
(Thanks to Grammy for taking the kids.)
The first day was a train ride through the beautiful trees. That evening was a delicious dinner at a nice Italian restaurant, followed with a movie at the theaters. The next day was breakfast in bed and then off to the beach. Sand, surf, the ocean air.....Ahhhh, heaven in my book. I didn't want to leave, but as they say, "All good things must come to an end."
Well, there's nothing wrong with repeating it at a later date now is there ;)
I've said it before, and I'll say it again.....I LOVE baby feet! Love, Love, Love!!! I kiss them, nibble them, and play "This little Piggy". Kady knows when Momma needs a "tootsie fix" because she will kick them up to me and wait for me to nibble. (Am I weird?) Anyway, one thing Kady does is pull off her socks and separate each toe to wipe the fuzzy gunk away. HAhaha......this may have been my fault.

My husband made a quick stop at home this morning to bring me an early Valentine surprise . It's a Hawaiian Volcano Plant. It actually grows from a piece of volcanic rock. I think it's so lovely......(Here's hoping it stays alive in my care.)
Thank you honey!

Logan was a blanket baby. He had a light blue one with Winnie the Pooh on one corner. That thing was dragged everywhere and slept with night after night. I had washed it so many times it became almost translucent! I tried to buy one similar as a back up, but he knew the difference. By the time he was 4ish, I had to take it away and teach him that he was a "big boy" now and didn't need it. It wasn't too much of a battle. Kady is also a blankie baby, since she was 6 months old. Once she found her love of one in particular, I went out and bought THREE more, the exact same color and all. This picture makes me laugh because this is how Logan was watching T.V....blanket on the head like King Tut! Every once in a while he will play with Kady and her blankie and grab a snuggle on it or two.
Look at these lovelies! I bought them from Etsy. I will buy more! They will be a part of what I envision for my family room wall :)
I LOVE these fun bowls. I was browsing through the isles of Ross and saw the big red one and HAD to buy it! When I got home I couldn't stop thinking about the other smaller bowls and went out the next morning, hoping they didn't get snatched up, and bought them too. Yay!
