What's Been Up.......

For Valentines Day, Jess made me think that he didn't have time to do anything "special" until I went downstairs and saw flowers & a card on the table.....then he later got me a box of See's truffles, (my fav!) That day we drove to his parents house b/c his sister and family came out from Utah for a visit. That evening the grandparents watched all our kids so us "adults" could go out for a Valentines dinner. We had Thai food and it was delish :)
Over a year ago I had bought tickets for my Mom and I to see Celine on her "Taking Chances" tour. My Mom had never seen her and I thought it would be a great treat . I had my best friend come along as well. The concert was last Saturday and it was AWESOME. We had a great time and even had to pass around the kleenex at a couple of emotional songs. It was so great to share that experience with my Mom.

(Here is Niki admiring her reflection in the window)
These are pics of my kids with their cousins that came out to visit. It's too bad they don't live closer, but we cherish the time that they are here.

Nathan and Max doing only what boys do....

This is Jake and Whitney....only a month apart in age!

This is my youngest niece, Deven.....such a sweetie pie :)

Dinner for 4?......

I decided to spruce up my dinning room table like you see in model homes. I found the dishes at my favorite store, Target, and the 3 arrangements were done by my Mom. I may change things around from time to time like different colored place mats and napkins or jazz things up for the holidays, but for now I really like how it is.

Store Window.....

.....I don't know why, but I liked this display in a store window and took a picture of it ;)

"There she rolls!"

I was waiting for this milestone to happen. She finally rolled, just shy of turning 6 months. As you can see, once she is on her tummy, she hates it.

Grandpa......

(My Gramps....did I mention he's 80!)
(Gramps and his only great-grandchilden...so far!)

(4 generations)

My Gramps was out visiting for a month. It was good to have him here. He met Kadance and was able to spend more time getting to know my boys. Pictures are treasures forever.
I hope to see him again soon.
